Parkhill | Schrickel Rollins was selected by REES Architects as the landscape architects and civil engineers for the development of the clubhouse and maintenance facility at the Texas Rangers Golf Club. Services ranged from conceptual site planning and construction documents to construction observation. Parkhill | SR also hosted its first tournament at the golf course in May.  

 

ARLINGTON, Texas — Due to outdated drainage, topsoil erosion, and years of use, Chester Ditto Golf Course was struggling to compete with newer golf courses in the area. The golf course owned and operated by the City of Arlington had narrow “high-crown” fairways and small greens that created slower play times, which resulted in fewer rounds per day and thus less revenue. In a time when many cities are eliminating their public golf courses, Arlington decided it was time to update Chester Ditto Golf Course into a world-class facility.
