How Rapid Growth Spurs Major Infrastructure Improvements to Support Future Development
The City of Midland, fueled by recent oil and gas booms in the Permian Basin, has experienced rapid growth, leading to a significant need for enhanced infrastructure. To support this expansion, particularly in the northeast part of the city, a new wastewater main line needed to be constructed. Spanning 7.5 miles, the line serves 10,000 housing units and connects to the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
