Exciting changes are underway at Fort Worth ISD’s Riverside Middle School, where additions and renovations have officially begun! The school community recently gathered on-site to mark this new beginning with a groundbreaking.

This transformative project, part of the district’s 2021 Bond Program, is designed to create a more dynamic and inspiring environment for students. Since its early planning stages in 2022, Parkhill has worked closely with Fort Worth ISD and local construction company Procedeo to reimagine key areas — including the media center and fine arts spaces — with a focus on enhancing student engagement.

The design also thoughtfully integrates common areas and specialized spaces that support a broad range of learning and extracurricular activities. A new fine arts building will house programs for mariachi, orchestra, band, choir, and theater, giving students expanded opportunities to express themselves and grow.

Currently in the construction document phase, the project spans approximately 141,218 square feet and is expected in early 2027.

Parkhill is proud to play a role in shaping the next generation of learning spaces at Riverside — and to help build a school environment where students can truly thrive.
