Liz Morgan Named Lubbock Area United Way Community Impact Volunteer of the Year

Liz Morgan, IIDA, has been named the 2025/26 Lubbock Area United Way Community Impact Volunteer of the — an honor that reflects both her professional leadership and her deep commitment to serving others.
A Senior Associate and Group Lead in Parkhill’s Interiors Practice, Liz is known for living out one of the firm’s core values: Unassuming Influence. Rather than seeking recognition, she focuses on meaningful, long-term change—building relationships, strengthening teams, and investing in the community she calls home.
Leading with Purpose at Parkhill
At Parkhill, Liz leads with genuine care, connecting with clients and colleagues while delivering thoughtful design solutions. Beyond the workplace, that same heart for people guides her volunteer service. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Community Impact Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Lubbock Area United Way.
For more than a decade of involvement, Liz has helped lead program review teams, evaluate funding requests, and work alongside fellow committee members to ensure resources are invested wisely. Her efforts help provide donors with confidence that their contributions are creating real, measurable impact across the community.
A Lasting Commitment to United Way
Liz was first introduced to United Way 11 years ago during a Parkhill workplace campaign. After hearing about the organization’s impact across Lubbock, she felt compelled to get involved. She later served as a Campaign Coordinator and Loaned Executive before stepping into her current leadership roles.
“Lubbock Area United Way is dedicated to serving our community and giving people hope,” Liz said. “They work with local organizations that serve every zip code in our community to provide essential resources and support for safety, finances, education, and healthcare.”
As Vice Chair of the Community Impact Committee, Liz helps guide the responsible distribution of funds and supports partner agencies in delivering meaningful outcomes. Her role on the Board of Directors allows her to collaborate on decisions that shape United Way’s mission, strategy, and long-term health.
“I greatly admire those who have paved the way in serving our Lubbock community and making a real difference through United Way,” she said. “I’m so grateful to play even a small part in this work. Being recognized for serving our community truly feels like the highest honor.”
