What inspired you to pursue a career in Client Relations?
I have a genuine passion for helping people and building meaningful relationships. I had a wonderful career in the nonprofit sector while raising our three children. In those roles, I had the opportunity to work closely with diverse communities, as well as local and state leadership and stakeholders. Understanding the needs of the community and building trusted partnerships were essential to creating and sustaining thriving communities.
I found great fulfillment in supporting clients and fostering long-term friendships that made a real impact. Those experiences showed me the power of strong, trusting relationships in creating positive change. It felt natural to carry that passion into a client relations career, where I could continue to serve as a trusted friend to clients and communities, creating lasting partnerships.
How would you describe your leadership style?
My leadership style is rooted in servant leadership, which aligns well with Parkhill’s collaborative and client-focused approach. I believe this mindset not only drives successful outcomes but also strengthens trust and long-term partnerships.
What about your career brings you the most joy or fulfillment?
I strive to become a true partner, both in relationships and in supporting the success of our team and clients. I find fulfillment in understanding the clients’ goals, anticipating future opportunities and being someone they can rely on. Building long-term trusted relationships is incredibly rewarding to me.
Who in your life has been a mentor to you and why?
My parents have been my greatest mentors and cheerleaders throughout my life. They set the gold standard for faith, work ethic, and integrity, and they taught me to treat others with kindness and respect. Their unwavering love and support have shaped the way I approach everything in life.
They instilled in me the importance of perseverance, grit, determination and staying rooted in faith and family—no matter the circumstances. They continue to guide me and will always have a lasting impact on how I lead, communicate, build relationships, and live my life for the glory of God.
What piqued your interest in joining Parkhill?
From the very first interaction, it was clear that trust, respect, and mutual support were at the heart of Parkhill’s culture. I was especially drawn to the firm’s commitment to building strong communities and inspiring people.
What about Parkhill’s mission of Building Community resonates with you the most?
As a believer in the Bible, Parkhill’s mission to Build Community resonates deeply with me. It reflects the biblical call to love our neighbors, serve others selflessly, and be good stewards of the places where we live and work.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I find the greatest joy in spending quality time with the people I love. Whether it’s taking peaceful walks, sharing laughs with family and friends, or embracing the everyday joys of being a wife, mom, “Yaya,” and grand-dog companion, I cherish the simple moments that make life meaningful. Even something as quiet as watching a sunrise reminds me of the beauty and gratitude each day brings.
