Parkhill Supports Underserved Communities Foundation With Building Community Investment Grant

Parkhill recently presented a Building Community Investment (BCI) grant to the Underserved Communities Foundation (UCF), receiving a warm welcome from Executive Director Diana Hastings, Board Chair Max Villaronga, and the Board of Directors. The UCF leadership extended their gratitude to everyone at Parkhill for this generous support, emphasizing the positive impact the grant will have on the El Paso community.
Empowering El Paso’s Most Vulnerable
UCF is dedicated to providing resources and support to the most impoverished populations in El Paso. Through partnerships like the Parkhill BCI program, UCF can expand its reach and identify individuals and families who are most vulnerable. These collaborations enable UCF to deliver essential resources such as housing support, education opportunities, and basic household items to those who need them most.
Transforming Lives Through the Harmonious Home Program
The BCI grant will amplify UCF’s Harmonious Home Program, which provides complete household furnishings to individuals and families transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing. Building on the success of UCF’s Sweet Beginnings initiative, Harmonious Home transforms empty living spaces into functional, welcoming homes that promote dignity, stability, and self-sufficiency. The funding will be used to purchase platform beds, memory foam mattresses, dining sets, side tables, coffee tables, dressers, and other essential furnishings, ensuring that 15 families and 15 individuals have the safety and functionality needed to rebuild their lives.
This project will help 30 households begin a new chapter with stability and dignity. By turning empty spaces into complete, functional homes, UCF and the Harmonious Home Program provide more than furnishings—they create the foundation for lasting independence, resilience, and a true sense of belonging.
Building Community Together
Parkhill is proud to support UCF’s mission and to help make a meaningful difference in the lives of El Paso residents who need it most. Together, these efforts are building stronger communities and empowering individuals and families to thrive.
