Innovative Design Transforms Alto Lakes Water Treatment
The Alto Lakes Water and Sanitation District turned to PSC to address rising levels of iron and manganese in their water supply. PSC designed a state-of-the-art treatment facility using a skid-mounted removal system for efficient iron and manganese reduction. A new station control cabinet, equipped with a PLC, was integrated to operate six variable frequency pumps for treatment and distribution. The system was further enhanced with modifications to the existing SCADA system, including a newly developed HMI screen to monitor the entire process. This innovative solution ensures cleaner, safer water for the community.
