From 2018 to 2019, Parkhill managed the City of Amarillo’s ambitious seal coat program, covering over 3 million square yards of streets in the northeast and northwest quadrants.
Communication is Key
The project involved ongoing communication with city staff, businesses, and residents to ensure minimal disruption. Parkhill’s Construction Management team leveraged digital and social media to keep the public informed about construction activities, reducing the impact on daily routines.
On-Time and On-Track
Observing every phase of the project, Parkhill’s Resident Project Representatives ensured smooth execution. Completed in the Fall of 2019, the seal coat program enhanced half of Amarillo’s streets, setting the foundation for future city improvements.
