Arlington’s Abram Street

A Grand Welcome
A key feature of the project includes two “Welcome Mats” at the east and west entrances, signaling the arrival to Downtown Arlington. The street passes between Arlington City Hall and the Levitt Pavilion, where a plaza with retractable bollards has been developed to host special events and festivals. The space is highlighted by four sculpture towers and serves as a focal point for two major annual parades.
Building Community Trust
Infrastructure improvements, such as new water and sewer systems and advanced drainage solutions, were integrated into the project. The design team placed a strong emphasis on public involvement, engaging local business owners and hosting public meetings to ensure community buy-in. This inclusive approach fostered positive feedback and excitement for the future of Downtown Arlington.
