Caldwell ISD High School CTE Center and Gymnasium

Modern Learning and Athletics Designed for Tomorrow

Caldwell ISD expanded its high school campus with two major additions that reflect the district’s commitment to future-ready learning and student development—both in the classroom and on the court. The new Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center and primary gymnasium were designed to support a range of programs that prepare students for life beyond graduation, while also enhancing school pride and community engagement.

Hands-On Learning With a Future-Forward Focus

The CTE Center offers skill-based instruction in health sciences, agriculture, floral design, and features a state-of-the-art culinary lab. Five flexible science labs support physics, chemistry, and biology instruction, with layouts adaptable to evolving teaching methods. Natural light fills the learning spaces through light wells and clerestory windows, creating a vibrant atmosphere. All mechanical systems are concealed within the building’s structure, keeping rooftop equipment hidden from public view and preserving the school’s clean exterior aesthetic.

A Modern Home for Athletics and School Spirit

The new gymnasium seats nearly 700 spectators and includes locker rooms, coach offices, a training room, and laundry service. The naturally lit lobby includes concessions, ticketing, and a spirit booth, with a glass wall offering clear views of the court. The design balances functionality and fan experience — supporting athletes and welcoming the entire Caldwell community.
