Lighting Design Enhances Runway Safety and Efficiency
Parkhill undertook a major upgrade of Runway 17-35, replacing outdated incandescent edge lights with efficient LED lights and adding new taxiway guidance signs. Safety enhancements included installing PAPI-4s and relocating the beacon to a higher, more visible position. Additionally, a new wind cone and rotating beacon on tip-down towers were installed, and the existing electrical vault was retrofitted.
