Midland Northeast Sanitary Sewer
As the Permian Basin’s energy surge fuels rapid growth, Midland’s northeast side is transforming — bringing not only new neighborhoods, but the need for smarter infrastructure. To support wastewater needs for 10,000 future homes, the City partnered with Parkhill to design a major 7.5-mile main line stretching from the county line to the city’s wastewater treatment plant.

Laying the Foundation for Growth
This isn’t just a pipeline—it’s a precision operation through densely developed terrain, crossing three major highways: Loop 250, Business 20, and I-20. With tunneling depths reaching 42 feet, Parkhill’s work involved everything from route analysis and utility engineering to environmental and archeological studies.
Beneath Midland, a City Expands
The Design-Bid-Build project was scoped at $30 million and completed on time in August 2025 at a final cost of $40 million—with no design-related delays. Every detail, from rights-of-way to regulatory permits, was carefully managed, clearing the path for long-term community growth—one linear foot at a time.
