Stephenville Eastside Sewer Interceptor & Lift Station
The City of Stephenville’s sewer infrastructure along the Bosque River has reached its capacity, creating an urgent need for expansion as the City continues to grow. With increasing demand on the east side of the Bosque River, Parkhill conducted a comprehensive study to identify service basins, analyze sewer flows, size sewer mains, and provide phased construction cost estimates.

Laying the Foundation for Expansion
Phase I of the project begins at the Stephenville Wastewater Treatment Plant and includes the design and construction of a 25-MGD lift station and 48”, 36”, and 30” sewer pipeline segments. This phase requires strategic planning to secure TxDOT utility permits for crossings at major highways like U.S. 377, State Highway 108, and Business 377, along with designing two critical Bosque River crossings.
Building for the Future
Phase II proposes an 18” sewer line connecting to the new 48” main on the river’s east side. With additional TxDOT permits required for a U.S. 281 crossing, this phase ensures Stephenville can meet its growing infrastructure demands while fostering sustainable development for the future.
