Victory Bank — Quaker Branch
The renovation of Victory Bank’s Quaker Branch transforms a dated mid-century building into a fresh, inviting banking experience grounded in community values. Originally built in the 1950s–60s and later used as a call center, the building posed challenges: outdated systems, tight site constraints, dated aesthetics, and accessibility issues.

Designing for Relationships, Not Transactions
Victory Bank’s vision centered on comfort, transparency, and community engagement. The teller footprint was reduced to create space for private offices, an open office layout, and a boardroom that hosts nonprofit meetings and community events after hours. Every aspect of the design encourages interaction and flexibility, from intuitive circulation to zones of acoustical privacy that balance openness with discretion.
A Rugged, Refined West Texas Feel
The design concept blends West Texas Industrial with casual contemporary style —rugged, authentic, and warm. A clean exterior façade and native landscaping establish a modern but regionally grounded identity. Inside, real hardwood flooring, quartz countertops, and integrated acoustic treatments create a space that feels both elevated and comfortable. The result is a bold redefinition of banking in Lubbock — one that encourages patrons to slow down, connect, and stay awhile.
