LUBBOCK, Texas — The Texas Society of Professional Engineers honored Daniel Albus, PE, as the 2019 Young Engineer of the Year for the South Plains Chapter. Daniel is a Senior Associate and Team Leader in the Treatment Practice for Parkhill.

The award recognizes a young TSPE member who has made outstanding contributions to the Engineering Profession and the community during the early years of one’s career.

“Daniel provides unequaled design expertise to our clients by identifying each technical issue our clients have and explaining why these issues need to be addressed,” said Brian Stephens, Director of Treatment for Parkhill.

As a Team Leader in Parkhill’s Treatment Practice, Daniel is an expert in water and wastewater treatment for industries and municipalities. His experience includes the design of several reverse osmosis plants, arsenic treatment plants, facultative lagoons, and activated sludge systems. Daniel has also presented technical papers at several American Society of Civil Engineers state section meetings.
