The final day of concrete paving for the Taxiway Reconstruction Project at El Paso International Airport started early with a West Texas sunrise. Parkhill's Construction Management Team oversaw the reconstruction of Taxiways, J, J1, J2, and J9 at EPIA, which is now complete. This project included placement of over 28,000 square yards of concrete for the new taxiways.
The Construction Management Team's services includes the Engineer of Record and Resident Project Representative services for projects designed by Parkhill as well as third-party RPR services of projects designed by other firms, such as the EPIA Taxiway Reconstruction Project. At its core, construction management includes on-site representation of the owner to make sure the project is constructed in a quality manner, on time, and within budget.
