EPISD Coronado HS Academic Building - Construction Update Aug. 24-Nov. 14

Construction on the new El Paso ISD Coronado HS improvements began in 2019. These improvements including a new academic building are planned to be completed in 2022.
Ongoing activities at the north and south sides of classroom areas in the foreground of this #TimeLapseTuesday are installations of ribbon window frames and glazing.
Installation of the steel building frame, corrugated steel floor decking, roof decking and mounting of mechanical units in admin/classroom areas are in progress in the background.
Light gauge framing along with exterior sheathing have commenced on the north and west side of the building. Installation of ductwork, hydronic piping and other building systems in ceiling plenum for all three floors of the building is ongoing as well.
