Parkhill Women in Architecture Named to Great Designers Library, Say It Loud Exhibit

Of 115 submissions from across Texas, talented women in architecture from Parkhill were selected to be featured in the Beyond the Built Environment's Great Diverse Designers Library and SAY IT LOUD Exhibition. Congratulations to Melissa Walker, AIA, Mary Stills, AIA, Ashlee Horsley, AIA, Nichole Carroway, AIA, and Amber Buscarello, AIA!
The Great Diverse Designer Library and SAY IT LOUD were created by Beyond the Built Environment, an organization that celebrates and supports diverse professionals and diversity in the communities they serve. The Great Designers Library is an online library that serves as a resource for professionals in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, planning, environmental, engineering, and art professions as well as students.

SAY IT LOUD is a physical exhibit of projects by diverse designers. For the 2021 exhibit, Texas Architects focused on women professionals. Walker, Buscarello, and the ACU Science and Engineering Research Center project were chosen to be part of the SAY IT LOUD Exhibit. This exhibit will be on display at the TxA 2021 Convention in San Antonio on October 7-9 and travel across the state.
