Kim Hooker Awarded CSI Certificate of Merit and Appreciation

AMARILLO, Texas — The South Central Region of the Construction Specifications Institute honored Kim Hooker, AIA, LEED AP, RAS, with a certificate of merit and appreciation at a CSI awards banquet in Oklahoma City on April 5. Kim is a senior architect in the Higher Education Sector for Parkhill.
The award recognizes Kim’s enthusiasm and commitment to leadership in the South Central Region and Amarillo Chapter of CSI.
“Kim has been very active in our community to get new members interested in CSI, and most specifically launching the Amarillo Construction Document Technologist (CDT) Exam Prep Class and recruiting instructors from various businesses to teach topic classes needed for the CDT certification,” said Greg Billman, Higher Education Studio Leader.
Kim’s experience includes facility and accessibility assessment, historic renovation, master planning, and design. Her work includes the New Mexico State University new Residence Hall, the Abilene Christian University Tennis Center, Midland College June and Frank Cowden, Jr. Dining Hall, and AC Ware Lab Renovation.
