We are proud to announce that our very own Director of Planning and Interiors Michael Howard, AIA, AICP, ASLA, was recognized in Building Design+Construction’s 40 Under 40 for his expertise and dedication to the Frisco community.
"I am so proud of Michael for this recognition, and I am not surprised," said Vice President of Architecture Dan Hart, FAIA, PE. "He is incredibly thoughtful and committed to the work and his community. It’s hard for me to imagine anyone more deserving."
Michael is an active public servant in Frisco. He serves on the Board of Directors for Frisco Family Services and as chair for the Mayor’s Golf Classic Planning Committee, an organization that in the last fiscal year has provided 730,000 meals to local folks in need and more than $1.9M in annual program support. Michael also graduated from Leadership Frisco in 2018 and serves as chair of the curriculum for the Leadership Frisco Advisory Council. With Parkhill, he is a Firm Principal and serves as our Frisco Location Leader and the Applications Committee Chair for our Building Community Investment. He has designed and managed over $50,000 of pro bono services for local non-profits since 2016.
In Michael’s own words, “I am most proud of the projects completed in my own community, including a senior center, school natatorium, and an office building for a local nonprofit organization. It is incredibly rewarding to know that my work contributes to shaping the future of my community.”
Since he started at Parkhill as a draftsman in 2007, we’ve known how capable and driven Michael is in Building Community, and we’re excited that others are appreciating it too.
Please join us in congratulating Michael!
