On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Parkhill Principals, it is my pleasure to congratulate three outstanding professionals on their promotion to Principal — Jacob HernandezDawn Moore, and Sam Wyatt.   

 

Each has displayed leadership and a commitment to excellence, upholding our PSC Mission, Vision, and Values. We are thankful for their continued service to the firm and to our clients. As Principals, we look forward to their future contributions to the communities in which we live and serve.   

 

Jacob Hernandez, PE, serves as the Team Leader within Parkhill’s Site Development Planning Practice in El Paso. He began his career in the DFW metroplex before returning to his hometown of El Paso to join PSC in 2012. With 16 years of experience, he has provided engineering design and client management services for all types of land development and site development projects throughout the state of Texas. Jacob received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2004 and became a licensed professional engineer in 2008. Outside of work, he is involved in several organizations, most notably serving as Executive President for the board of CASA of El Paso. He is married to Becky and has two children, Madison and Nathan.   

 

Dawn Moore, SPHR, is Vice President of Human Resources. She has 25 years of HR experience, nine of which with PSC. Dawn is a graduate of Arizona State University, the Leadership Lubbock class of 2002, and PSC’s Leadership Academy class of 2012. Dawn has a passion for building the employee community at PSC and seeing those around her succeed. Her leadership has helped create a culture within the firm that allows us to fulfill our mission of Building Community. She serves on the boards of the Community Foundation of West Texas, Hope Lutheran Church, and the Talkington School for Young Women Leaders. She also volunteers with Llano Estacado Emmaus. She is married to John and they have two daughters, Sarah and Daisy.   

 

Sam Wyatt, RPLS, is the Survey Team Leader in the CPS/CM/Survey Practice. Sam received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from Texas Tech University in 2009 and became a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in 2014. Sam has led surveying and mapping efforts for a broad spectrum of design projects in over 50 counties in Texas. His projects include numerous control network surveys, right-of-way maps, easement descriptions, topographic surveys, ALTA reports, and municipal plats. Sam brings innovative approaches to his surveys, utilizing the latest in surveying technology. Whether it is a global navigation satellite system (GNSS), robotic total stations, drones, or terrestrial scanning, he and his team always seek the best tool for each project. Sam is closely involved with his local church, serving as a deacon at the Milwaukee Avenue Church of Christ. He is married to Emma, and together they have four children: Liam, Grant, Charlotte, and Vivian.
