Parkhill has a long history of Building Community by creating inventive, relevant built environments within the communities it serves. That now includes Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Parkhill announced on Wednesday that Albuquerque-based Gordon Environmental Inc. (GEI) has merged with the 71-year-old West Texas firm, giving Parkhill its ninth office location.
The addition of GEI’s impressive portfolio of work and outstanding reputation gives Parkhill’s New Mexico presence a considerable boost. GEI adds their highly-respected and sought-after solid waste engineering expertise to Parkhill’s strong solid waste program as well as a broad base of private, municipal, and institutional clients.
“Based on our similar beliefs and drive toward excellence, joining forces with Parkhill offers a mutually beneficial relationship as we serve communities throughout Texas and New Mexico,” Keith Gordon, president of GEI, said. “I look forward to the increased capacity and knowledge base that this merger represents for both of our firms.”
This move comes just one year after Parkhill added offices in Frisco and Austin. The Albuquerque location will add to Parkhill’s growing presence in New Mexico prompted the move with this well-known solid waste engineering firm. The addition of GEI, along with Parkhill results in more than 100 years of experience in municipal solid waste engineering services.
“No other engineering firm in the state of New Mexico offers municipal solid waste engineering expertise like Gordon Environmental,” Parkhill President and CEO Joe Rapier said. “GEI offers a tremendous value in quality solid waste engineering and consulting that will be a huge asset to Parkhill. We look forward to building community further into New Mexico with all of our architectural and engineering services.”
