The Northeastern New Mexico Regional Landfill is located approximately six miles north of Wagon Mound, N.M. The client, Arthur Regional Landfill, Inc., selected Parkhill to provide professional services for design a new landfill cell at the historic site.
One of the unique parts of the project concerns landfill gas control measures. These measures can be used in situations where landfills are meeting regulations, having uncontrolled releases of unsafe gases, or odor problems.
Parkhill provided bid support, bid evaluations, recommendations, and a community information meeting and testimony at a public hearing.
