World Water Week is a global event to recognize one of our most essential resources and the role we all have in protecting it. Together, the following projects demonstrate how thoughtful planning, innovative engineering, and collaborative delivery can address vastly different water challenges. As we raise awareness, we also celebrate the work being done across our communities to strengthen critical infrastructure and build a more resilient future.

Lamesa Water Supply Improvements Project | Lamesa, Texas

To provide water security in a drought-prone region, Parkhill helped the City of Lamesa build a 14-million-gallon underground storage tank and improve its well and pump station infrastructure. The project supports both emergency supply and long-term sustainability and provides two weeks of backup water capacity for the community.

Phillips 66 Herring Well Field Water Improvements | Borger, Texas

This project for Phillips 66 was delivered through PSC Services, providing construction management and oversight from design through execution. The integrated delivery model enabled close collaboration between engineering and construction teams. The project included two new Public Water Supply (PWS) wells and a 2.2-million-gallon ground storage tank to support a reliable water supply. A collection system connected the new wells to existing infrastructure feeding the storage tank. The system was designed to optimize hydraulic performance, seamless integration, and long-term reliability.

Ransom Canyon New WWTP | Town of Ransom Canyon, Texas

The new Ransom Canyon wastewater treatment facility overcame challenging terrain and soil conditions to support the growing town. More than 100 rammed-aggregate piers driven 30 feet into the ground created a stable foundation, while a compact Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) system provided high-efficiency treatment within the constrained site. Two massive concrete basins were cast in a single day. By repurposing existing infrastructure and providing multidisciplinary engineering and construction phase services, Parkhill delivered an innovative solution designed to serve the needs of Ransom Canyon well into the future.

Fred Hervey WRF Eight Clarifier Rehabilitation | El Paso, Texas

Parkhill partnered with El Paso Water to rehabilitate aging clarifiers at the Fred Hervey Water Reclamation Plant in northeast El Paso. Parkhill originally designed the facility in 1981. Through a trusted client relationship, Parkhill has completed required critical upgrades to maintain reliable treatment capacity for the border region.
