Construction is officially underway on the expansion of the Williamson County Expo Center, marking a significant investment in the region’s growing event and livestock competition scene.

To accommodate high demand for arena space, Williamson County officials selected Parkhill to provide planning and design services for a new 34,375-square-foot arena, located just west of the existing facilities. This pre-engineered building will allow for more livestock events and competitions, further enhancing the Expo Center’s offerings.

In addition to the new arena, the existing main arena will be widened by approximately 10 feet on each side, creating a larger competition area to better serve rodeo and equestrian events. A wind block design is also being implemented to ensure optimal competition conditions for both competitors and animals. Beyond the arenas, the project includes a new tarmac and expanded parking facilities to accommodate larger outdoor events and future Expo Center growth.
