Friona ISD Primary School Hub Graphics Wins Two American Advertising Federation Awards

Parkhill was honored at the 2022 American Advertising Awards winning Gold and Best in Show for the Friona ISD Primary School Hub Graphics. The murals are a part of the 2019 Bond for the new Primary School that opened in the fall of 2021.
The Parkhill team worked with Friona ISD Superintendent Jimmy Burns and Friona Primary Principal Deidre Osburn to develop the graphics for murals at Friona ISD's Primary School. The murals were uniquely designed by Parkhill with scenes to reflect the themes and history of Friona and the State of Texas. The style of the graphics was inspired by the imagination of children and whimsical characters.
Each Hub area has a different theme that tells stories of the town and celebrates Texas. Elements of the graphics can also be used in educational scavenger hunt activities.
The graphics have become a showpiece for Friona Primary and for visitors and alumni who have heard about the project.
