Two significant anniversaries were on Jay Edwards’ mind as he took over as president and chief executive officer of Parkhill.
“This is our 40th year in Midland. We began in Midland in 1979,” he said, sitting in the company’s Midland office on Wall Street. “Next year will be the company’s 75th anniversary. All of that helped clarify for me our mission. Our mission is to build community by creating a creative, inventive, relevant environment together. I recently met with my new board and we reaffirmed that is our mission.”
