North Heights Advisory Association discusses planning initiatives

The North Heights Advisory Association and Parkhill met last week with the community to get input on what improvements could be done in the historically Black neighborhood.
Parkhill was brought in to get ideas on the North Heights property adjacent to the old BSA hospital on Polk Street and improvements that can be looked at in the community. Brian Griggs, an architect working with Parkhill, spoke about his group's involvement in working with the North Heights Advisory Association for improvements in the community.
During the meeting, representatives of Parkhill were at each table to hold roundtable discussions with community members to get a perspective in the needs and wants of the community. After breakout sessions, each table had a member speak about what ideas had been generated and shared with those in attendance.
