The purpose of the Parkhill/WD Wellington Office Park project in the beginning was to open up the courtyard for more pedestrian traffic from the frontal road of I-40 and Georgia as a selling piece for renting the spaces in the office park. Schematics were prepared by the WD Architects office prior to the office merger with Parkhill.
Formerly known as the Fisk Building, the Courtyard by Marriott project marks the largest private investment in Amarillo’s central business district in more than 40 years. It was one of WD Architects' signature projects.
